Controls on the controller were pretty solid and I didn’t have any issues with the controls. I tried it with a keyboard and it’s just not for me. However, if you are a keyboard and mouse player. Personally, I like to use a controller when playing platformers as that is what is natural for me. ![]() When it came to the controls for the game, I will admit that the controls of the game are pretty good. So although the game is a platformer, it does have a Metroidvania sort of vibe to it. As the game progresses you have to revisit places you’ve once visited and it does have teleporters. You have to know when to use the ability and how to use the ability as well. I like that the mechanic isn’t just a one-off type of thing either. This then allows Soli to see things that may not be in their dimension and vice versa. Soli gets the ability to transverse dimensions by summoning a bubble. The game is stunning, I really love the visuals and the gameplay of the game. Thus this event is what sends you into the game. Upon their travels, an event is triggered that sends Soli on the run to get to safety. Before the ceremony takes place Soli is chasing after a creature that seems to appear out of nowhere. Unbound: Worlds Aparts starts off as you playing as Soli, a little mage or sorcerer of some sort who is playing in their village, as their village prepares for the festival that cleanses the crystal that keeps their village safe.
